Ventress Hall nursing and residential care home, Darlington, County Durham

Welcome to Ventress Hall

Where residents can rely on the highest standards of comfort and security and there’s always a warm, friendly welcome for their families and friends.

Ventress Hall is situated in a pleasant and sought-after residential area within walking distance of all the amenities of Darlington town centre. Our period-style building is set around two internal courtyards and has been specially adapted to accommodate elderly residents in comfort and security.

All of the people who live here at Ventress Hall benefit from one-to-one attention and care from our dedicated team who are able to provide expert residential and nursing care as well as short term respite care and recuperation after an accident or illness. We are also able to offer day and short-break respite care as well as specialist end of life care.

Ours is a warm, friendly home where everyone - resident and visitor alike - is helped to feel relaxed and ‘at home’.

We believe in encouraging our residents to maintain their independence for as long as possible, involving them in day to day decision making in the home, and encouraging them to continue making their own decisions about what they do and how they spend their time. In this way, they continue to feel valued, listened to and able to enjoy life to the full.
